Jaha Dukureh has been an anti-FGM activist for over ten years. As an FGM survivor, Jaha used her voice through the media to make sure other women don't face the same pain and challenges she has had to face. Now she is using that voice to run for president in The Gambia.

My project was mainly designed to engage students from grade six to grade nine. I hosted a live students forum from Charles Jaw memorial academy on the Day of the African child. Our topic of discussion was centered on issues affecting our lives as African children. FGM was central in our discussion.

Sarjo Camara- Singateh anti-FGM activist creates a radio show which was held in honor of international women’s day to reflect on the achievement and challenges of women on issues that affect women after undergoing FGM.
Ebrima Saidykhan, anti-FGM campaigner, organised a program which engaged female cutters, youth, and women in the North Bank Region of The Gambia. Audios were recorded in the local languages by a female cutter and other prominent people which were aired at prime times for many days. The program further provided a detailed discussion on the dangers of FGM on children, the harmful nature of the practice, and the implication of the laws.
