10 Survivors share their experiences on Radio, Create a Jingle, and Say No to FGM, Kenya

The project was a onetime radio show on Baliti Radio that had ten women survivors of FGM give their FGM experiences nine of the stories were recorded but one of the survivors did the story live on air where the audience called in to ask questions.

Major Media platforms Discuss The Role of the County Government in Ending FGM in Elgeyo Marakwet County, Kenya

Marakwet Girls Foundation utilized the media with the engagement of the senior administrative officers from the office of the county commissioner and the directorate of gender and social services in Elgeyo/Marakwet County to do sensitization in the three major media stations and amplified in our social media platforms on the legal, social-economic and other adverse effects of Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) and subsequently early marriage.

Media Campaign talks about the types of FGM and Engages Schools to End-FGM in Garissa county, Kenya

Like any other year every summer school midterm break, many girls are at risk of going through the cut, with students from Tumaini primary school, we have highlighted the plight of children, taking count of the progress made in enabling the various children rights, especially orphans, children from deprived communities, children under juvenile justice, girls victimized by harmful cultural practices (FGM).
